Who We Are
Bodhichitta is Oregon’s first not-for-profit winery, located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, home of Pinot noir, in Salem, Oregon. It looks to service before self and the connection amongst all sentient beings. Bodhichitta emphasizes hand-crafted, home-made wines and lavender aromatherapy products using local, natural and whenever possible, organic ingredients. Our products represent our connection and respect for nature, the environment and one another.
We donate to worthy charities at the local, regional, national and international level. Bodhichitta Winery strives to give of ourselves to others to live up to our name's Sanskrit roots and motto:
Passion for wine, compassion for others.
Our tasting room under the Island Mana Wines name is located in downtown Portland at 526 SW Yamhill Street, right across from Pioneer Courthouse Square, next to Ben and Jerry's. Both the Bodhichitta and Island Mana wines, as well as the lavender aromatherapy and culinary products are available exclusively at the store. Stop by for a tasting, flight or glass of wine and enjoy one of our many events.
